Welcome to Bernard's Travel Journal. This blog is specifically to share my travel experiences with the world. I have a personal blog on Wordpress.com which I post anything. However, I have decided to separate stories about my travels.

Over the years, I have traveled to a number of wonderful places in Papua New Guinea and abroad; I have been to China and Fiji. These places are unique and beautiful but I never though to write about them or tried and failed.

I tried on a couple of occasions in China but the block on Google did not allow me. I would later use a VPN to bypass the block but by then the inspiration had subsided.

When I first started working in the public service I worked with the National Statistical Office (NSO) collecting data for the Demography and Health Survery (DHS) in 2006 and I literally traveled all over the country. 

I trekked into the remote mountains of Koiari and drove through the dirt roads of East New Britain (ENB). I also visited all the settlements in Port Moresby but I never bothered to write about them.

In this blog, I will try to write about all the travels I undertake and share them with the rest of the world.

(I will travel to Manus Island for my recreational leave on Friday so you can look forward to something new next week)
